AIKO and CS Group join forces for next-generation space autonomy
AIKO and CS Group are now working together to enhance mission operations with AI-powered solutions
AIKO and CS Group, a subsidiary of Sopra Steria, a major player in the European tech sector, are proud to announce a new collaboration to integrate their solutions and offer innovative, end-to-end systems to the space industry.
As part of this collaboration, AIKO’s platform for telemetry analysis and predictive maintenance, **gifted_GENE, will be integrated into CS Group’s portfolio, with a special focus on GOSMIC**, the software suite for mission and spacecraft operations.
gifted_GENE is AIKO’s AI-powered platform designed to enhance telemetry analysis and predict anomalies in advance. Already adopted by leading players in the space sector, including Tyvak International and AVIO, gifted_GENE enables:
• Faster telemetry analysis for ground teams
• Correlated data analysis to better identify root causes
• Prediction of anomalies up to four days in advance
Gosmic is CS Group’s next generation operational ground segment product line based on micro services architecture already used on several missions, and including:
• Multi-satellites and multi-missions control center
• Cloud-native scheduler for managing satellite operations and space data processing
• Orekit-based Powerful flight dynamics system for mission optimisation
• Full web interface to manage user requests and follow-up.
This provides ground teams with a powerful tool to **protect infrastructure and gain deeper insights** into the health of their systems. By combining CS Group’s operational expertise with AIKO’s cutting-edge AI, the collaboration aims to deliver innovative solutions that increase efficiency, responsiveness, and value for both institutional and commercial customers.
This collaboration builds on the relationship initially established between CS GROUP and AIKO France, the French branch of AIKO dedicated to Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and autonomous maneuvers. In particular, AIKO France’s contribution to CS GROUP’s ASTREK initiative, which brings together key players in space surveillance, has laid the foundations for a trusted and long-term collaboration.
At a time when the number of satellites in orbit is growing rapidly and space activities are becoming increasingly strategic, AI is key to reducing operational complexity, managing vast data volumes, and enabling autonomous systems that support sustainable and safe space operations. This collaboration represents a major opportunity to enrich one of the most widely used ecosystems of solutions with advanced AI-powered capabilities, bringing a new level of innovation to the French”
"This partnership with CS Group combines two complementary strengths: their proven leadership in mission operations and our expertise in AI-driven autonomy - said Lorenzo Feruglio, CEO of AIKO - By uniting these capabilities, we are not just integrating technologies: we are accelerating the transition toward the next generation of space operations, where autonomy, efficiency and resilience will define Europe’s competitiveness on the global stage."
Sylvain D’Hoine, Senior Vice-President Space, CS Group, said: "This collaboration with AIKO further strengthens our positioning within the European space industrial ecosystem. By combining our operational expertise with AIKO’s advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, we are enhancing our end-to-end solutions, from operations to value-added data generation, using next-generation technologies. Space and artificial intelligence are both strategic priorities for Sopra Steria, and this collaboration exemplifies our ambition to contribute to Europe’s technological sovereignty and to the sustainable development of the space sector."
